Due to the current closeness of the Administration/library structure to the street with closed walls and obstructive lines of sight, people are disconnected from the Apprenticeshop, library, and ocean.

 

To invite people into the site, the administration/library building was pulled back from the street to create views and add space between the street and the building. The added transparency will open up the line of sight in and through the building to the water.
