Belmont Maine Mudroom

Our client was looking to add a mudroom where family and friends have a comfortable space to enter the home. The mudroom was located where the front door currently is. Custome designed benches and cubbies will be added to the space to assist with storing coats. The front door was removed and a cased opening created that is wide enough to connect both the home and mudroom seamlessly.
Both the dining and living rooms are on the south side of the home. Unfortunately, there is only one window that is on the second floor. We decided that bay windows would work well to allow more light into the south side of the home.
Later projects will include a three season porch and patio.
